Our whole-school program is flexible, comprehensive and evidence-led:

Curriculum-aligned resources: 120 ready-to-use lessons (20 SEL topics per year level 1-6), interactive activities, classroom-friendly meditations and brain breaks for F-2, mapped to the Australian Curriculum’s Health and Physical Education learning area.

Professional development: Teacher support and training to foster staff and student wellbeing, including mental fitness foundations, anxiety and stress management, trauma-informed professional development and ADHD awareness.

Whole-school & community engagement: Tools to involve parents and carers, with printable resources that easily extend to homes, including seamless integration with the free Smiling Mind App.

  • We know that making a decision about your school’s wellbeing is a big one, and our demo video and sample lessons are designed to give you a detailed view of what our program is all about. If you’re keen to see more, the best way to do this is by getting in touch via the enquiry form.

  • The Smiling Mind Primary School Program can support a wide range of students and learning preferences, including those in special education settings or with behavioural needs.

    We equip educators with the knowledge to confidently teach the skills for wellbeing, with foundational training in mental fitness and wellbeing, on-demand professional development covering topics such as ‘Working with Trauma’, ‘Working with ADHD’ and ‘Working with Anxiety’ to help create inclusive, supportive learning environments.

    All lesson plans and supporting materials have been designed using trauma-informed principles.

  • The Smiling Mind Primary School Program can be run as a standalone wellbeing program, and can also work seamlessly alongside other programs commonly used in schools. 

    Our curriculum mapping resource is designed to show how each lesson fits within the Australian Health & Physical Education learning area.

    We understand that educators often juggle multiple resources, and the ‘plug-and-play’ nature of the lesson plans and resources allows educators to easily jump into lessons that complement the sequencing of other programs. 

  • We offer a Single Classroom License that provides individual access for educators who are unable to implement a whole-school approach but still want to bring evidence-based social and emotional learning to their students.

    This license is ideal for:

    • International educators seeking high-quality, curriculum-aligned SEL resources

    • Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) needing flexible, ready-to-use lesson plans to deliver impactful SEL on short notice

    • Student teachers or pre-service educators looking to build SEL teaching capability

    • Teacher aides, wellbeing staff and school psychologists supporting individual or small groups of students

    • Homeschooling parents or caregivers educating primary-aged children

    • Australian classroom teachers trialling Smiling Mind in a single class/small group for 12 months

      • Please note: Australian educators will be encouraged to transition into the Whole School Program at the end of the subscription to maximise impact across their school community.

  • The Smiling Mind Primary School Program is a comprehensive curriculum and toolkit designed for educators to integrate social and emotional (SEL) learning seamlessly into school environments.

    It includes 120 pre-planned lessons for Years 1 to 6, along with age-appropriate activities, discussion guides, meditations, and classroom resources, all accessible through the Smiling Mind Learning Hub.

    Students are able to embed their learnings into the home environment with take-home activity sheets that connect with the free Smiling Mind App, making it easy for parents and caregivers to reinforce mental fitness skills at home, building a strong bridge between school and home learning.
