Help your network support children in making friends

Children's friendships and connections aren't only an important part of their development—they're also a key pillar underpinning positive mental wellbeing.

With loneliness on the rise, along with increases in social anxiety and peer relationship difficulties, it's important we give our kids a helping hand when it comes to making friends.

That doesn't mean literally holding their hand in the playground—as parents and carers, there's actually a lot we can do to coach kids at home so they can head into school with some great social and emotional skills (and a little bit of practise in using them!).
