Go on a Bubble Journey!

Use this mindfulness meditation and exercise to help your child move from autopilot to present moment awareness by focusing on their breath before turning their attention to different parts of their body.  The accompanying activity encourages your child to spend time reflecting mindfully on how their day has unfolded by taking note of the details of different moments in their day.

To get started, find a comfy spot to sit and start the meditation.

Draw some big bubbles on a page and take a moment to think of some moments today when you really noticed things around you. It may have been a warm smile someone gave you, something you ate or drank, or something in nature that caught your attention. Draw these moments of awareness inside the bubbles.

This activity can be done on a blank piece of paper, or on the downloadable template.
